FOOTBALL CAMPS

We believe every child deserves the chance to stay active and be supported during the school holidays. That’s why we offer free football camps for ages 5–16 at SC Designs New Voluntary Park, Whitletts. Our camps provide fun, safe sessions that build confidence, teamwork, and football skills.

As part of the Holiday Hunger Initiative with South Ayrshire Council, every child also receives a free lunch, helping families while keeping kids energised for the day. Booking is simple via our Facebook page - Whitletts Vics in the Community, where we post the Class for Kids registration link.

WALKING FOOTBALL

The walking football group has been up and running at VICS for over two years now. It takes place Mondays and Thursdays at 9.30am-10.30am at New Voluntary Park. Walking Football is a great way to improve physical health, enhance mental wellbeing and build social connection. The sessions are open to all adults regardless of previous football experience or fitness level. The atmosphere is friendly and focused on having a good time while staying active.

MINI KICKERS

Our Mini Kickers is an introductory football group designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old. These sessions focus on developing physical, social, and football skills in a safe and friendly environment. The aims of the Mini Kickers class are to build confidence, promote physical activity and support early learning. These classes also provide a natural stepping stone into more structured football programmes as children grow older, ensuring a positive transition into the VICS in the Community football pathway. Contact louis@vicsinthecommunity.com if you are interested in coming along.

SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS

VICS in the Community is proud to partner with local schools in Ayrshire to support young people through sport. We host annual Schools Cup Finals, giving pupils the chance to experience these memorable events. In addition, we offer free pitch lets to schools, helping reduce barriers to participation and ensure young people have the opportunity to take part in sport and be physically active. Our aim is to inspire the next generation, support youth development and strengthen the link between education and sport.
